At the core of Cohort International is a small team of experts, complemented by the knowledge and experience of our network.

Trusted associates work with us on projects for which their specific skill range adds value.

  • Estrela Cardoso

Estrela leads our community, social and environmental efforts. Holding a PhD in Business Management she takes an experienced, well-informed but original approach to developing mining communities to fulfil their potential – driving positive ESG results in the process.

  • Peter Jones

He and the team have a no nonsense and original approach to getting things done, the right way, first time with the Home Team. Common sense will always prevail.

We partner with like minded innovators who can help us deliver a service greater than the sum of its parts. They are at the leading edge of their fields, and we work with them on R&D.

Like us, our partners are committed to working with the ‘Home Team’ to develop the skills that will make them self-sufficient in the technical space we create. We do not partner with equipment providers, we must remain ‘hardware agnostic’, although we are very happy to help with project definition and specification requirement statements.

  • Aizatron

Our technical partner, Aizatron, brings to our projects their capabilities in monitoring, data capture and AI-driven effect. Based in South Africa and the UK, they meet research and development challenges with cutting-edge technology. Together we are also committed to ensuring the ‘Home Team’ have the skills to maintain the capability on site.

  • Cortac

Cortac’s multisensory approach enables a wide variety of things to be monitored in real time. This can include TSF status, water behaviour, vegetation health and much more. Aizatron will ensure that displays and alerts are both efficiently displayed and trigger effective action. Cohort will ensure that those mitigation processes are in place and efficiently implemented.

  • Capable People

Capable people provide certified training and qualification of both Lead auditors and internal auditors. The methodology follows ISO 19011 which is the international standards for audit. They provide on-site training as part of the overall package.
